Documents Required
There are a few important documents that you need to apply:
- Copies of your original and old passport
- The passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months from the visa submission date, with at least two blank pages
- Two copies of the front and back page of your passport
- Confirmed two-way air tickets
- The visa application form needs to be filled and signed by the applicant
- Two recent passport-sized colour photos against a white background with a matte finish (size 35mm x 45mm)
- A covering letter that mentions the travel details as well as the traveller’s details
- Original bank statements that reflect the transactions of the last six months with a minimum balance of Rs.50,000 per traveller, that is duly signed and attested by a bank official
- No objection letter from your current employer
- Hotel booking confirmation with the hotel’s name and number
- Self-employed employees need to show either one of the partnership deed/company registration/ Memorandum of Article (MOA)
Additional documents:
For students travelling with their parents, a Bonafide Certificate stating the school/college details are necessary
A marriage Certificate may also need to be provided

- If all the documents are in place, it should take you around 6 to 7 working days for the eVisa to come through

- The visa is valid for 90 days from the issuing date
- You can, however, stay in Egypt for a maximum of 30 days only
- The 30 days tourist visa is applicable for a single entry visa
